Went to the suburbs today to see the niece and catch up with the rents, especially my dad who is a world traveler. Trouble is he never has pleasant stories to tell. They usually involve disease and death. He tells me that at the Beijing airport, there will sensor that I have to walk through that can tell if I am sick. If I have a temperature, they wont let me in. Same thing on the way back. Alrighty then.
This lead to him telling me that I should get a emergency prescription of cipro. This is what they recommend for people to have when the anthrax scare was happening during 9/11. Good times. Its great advice, but Iím not sure I want him to take me to the airport. I will be too tense to get on the airplane.
