So thanks to the sweet Red Sox PR dept, I got tickets to see the Sox play the Orioles in Fenway. The sad truth is I have never been to Fenway. Every time my Massachusetts friends invited me up, they were out of town. Thankfully, things worked out and I got to see them play a day game. It was heaven.
-Hearing the fans scream outside the parking lot and thinking it was Johnny Damon arriving. It was actually David Wells they were screaming at.
-Buying a beer before the game and seeing the Beer Ladyís face when I showed her my NY id.
-A wave started and it went around the stadium 4 times. Fenway is not that big mind you.
-Seeing Brian Roberts getting respect from the fans even though his team is tanking. He was a nice guy.
-Hearing the Fenway fans sing Sweet Caroline.
-Seeing Wells pitch a really great game. Unfortunately, the game was only 2 1/2 hours. I was ready/hoping it would be longer
Well, thatís all I got. So glad I can check this off the list. I now planning on ways to get back there.
