ABOUT THIS SITE
I inherited this site from the lovely Holly P., whom you all know. I'm a photo/sports freak who needed a creative outlet. Thought it would be cool to record my thirtieth year, which will be action-packed!
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I'm, Amy, I'm 29, and I call beautiful Brooklyn home. Brooklyn will be featured a lot, so get ready. As will my friends, family, photographers, famous athletes, Asia, and the Caribbean. Not in that order though.

Today was nice change from the drama of the past few days. I had a smartness to call Holly for dinner and she helped me out of my doldrums a bit by taking me to the yummy and brand new Le French Diner. She explained a couple of obvious truths. All these changes that are going on could be exciting. Good chance to meet new people and live in new parts of town. And all that complaining about wouldn’t be nice to live with a boyfriend and split rent, she has a lot of friends who have unfortunately broken up with their boyfriends while they are living together. That majorly sucks.
After sharing some wine at her place, I walked through the mist to Webster Hall to see The New Pornographers with Lee, his sister Jennie and hubby Chris. There is no way you can be depressed after watching that band. Disaffected indie rock kids were actually dancing and smiling. One girl was basically aerobicizing to the music. When we gave her funny looks she yell, “Shut up, I like the new album.” I hear you, sister.
Now I like their old stuff too, and can’t help singing it as if I was in my own musical. While strolling listing to my ipod, I almost broke into song on the street when I was listening to them on Atlantic Avenue.
Sweaty and tired from dancing, we had a pitcher of beer and some mozzarella sticks at Roll Roster. I should of taking a picture then…
