Tahiti and I had a mission to go to Century 21 today. We made the mistake of going during the last day of tax free week. Silly bunnies. Nothing was bought except aromatherapy lavender candle at an Arabic shop on Atlantic Avenue.
Then, I was ready for some football. I met Daniel at Bait and Tackle bar for football and some free eats courtesy of Ben and his wife, who are opening a new restaurant called The Good Fork. I wish I could link to it, but it is so spanking new that they just turned on the gas tonight to make us wings and gumbo. It was tasty. They are going to be located on Van Brunt, so next time you are in the Red Hook hood, check them out. They are super sweet. Oh and I ran into my Margie, my hair svengali. We looked at each other and said, “You’re dunk!” And her Rollergirl friends wanted to buy me tequila shots later. Thankfully, I escaped from that one. I’m turning into a lightweight.
